So I finally had everything worked out for my schedule, but now the counselors at my school won't let me do it, so I'm in a really bad situation. Could you guys give me some advice?

here's what my schedule's supposed to be:
-Honors International Relations
-AP Euro
-AP English Lit
-AP Calc BC *I
**-Accelerated French V
-Peer Mentoring *I)
*-Bioethics
-Chorus

I chose Bioethics so I could have some science in there, since there's no room for physics in my schedule without dropping classes that are really important to me. Bioethics is a half year course every other day because I'm taking part of it online (normally it's a half year course meeting daily), so it should fit in opposite chorus, which is full year every other day. Theoretically, my schedule works perfectly. However, I recently learned that our counseling center has a policy that if you take that online option, you have to have a free period every other day to make up for it (and I get where they're coming from with stress and all, but I think it's really stupid since if I had room for it I wouldn't be doing the online option in the first place...), so according to them my schedule doesn't fit.

Here are the options I can think of:
-repeal the decision: I'm already planning on doing this, but the head counselor said that even though he'd try to convince the principal on my behalf, he wasn't optimistic.
-drop bioethics: *this would allow me to keep chorus, which is fairly important to me, mainly because I've been doing it for 5 years and I'm hesitant to just stop now. However, I would be missing a science altogether, which would hurt my chances at selective colleges.
*-drop chorus: this would allow me room to take bioethics and maybe photo opposite it, which I thought I didn't have room for but would be really nice to have. I think this is the option I'm leaning towards since our chorus program is going through some changes next year that I'm not too excited about. I've also been realizing lately that chorus isn't quite as important to me as it used to me. But it's been part of my life for a long time, and it's a good time to unwind, so I'm still not sure...

thanks for sharing your opinions! :)
