<p>And if you won qualify for College Honors as an entering freshman, do you have to start early? If so, how early? Thanks for the help!</p>
<p>you don't schedule classes until your orientation session.
i highly recommend, however, that you familiarize yourself with the registrar's website, ursa, and especially the my.ucla class planner function before you attend orientation. have a few schedule options with you when you see your orientation counselor. know what you're interested in, if the class is already full, and what your backups are.</p>
<p>with college honors, the requirements for your first year are that you complete 8 units of honors credit by the end of spring quarter, and end spring quarter with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
another website to get to know would definitely be the college honors websites. all the links should be on your my.ucla. </p>
<p>for now, just enjoy the rest of high school, and start planning next year over the summer once you've graduated! ;)</p>
