Scheduling Problem... Please Help!

Hello,
I have a bit of a dilemma that I may be overthinking. I’m currently registered to take the following classes my senior year:

Honors Brit Lit
AP Physics 1
CC+ Theatre course (through Kenyon College)
CC+ Art History course (through Kenyon College)
CC+ Law and Ethics course (through Kenyon College)
AP Spanish
AP Calc AB.

Clearly a lot of tough classes. I took CP Calculus last year, so my only two options this year are AP Calc or AP Statistics. I’m low-key terrified of AP Calc; I’m a pretty smart person and pretty good at math, but I don’t really enjoy it. However, my dream school is Northwestern (I plan to study Psychology), so I know I need to take a math class. Is it worth switching into AP Stats, or does that look significantly worse than AP Calc? I know this seems so minute and silly, but I feel so lost right now and this is causing me so much unnecessary stress. I did pretty well in Calc last year (again, I’m decent at math), but I didn’t really like it all that much. If anyone has an answer to this madness, please help.

Also: I’m having all kinds of other dilemmas with scheduling and applying to college, so if anyone has any recommendations for getting help with that, please send them. My guidance counselor isn’t the best at answering emails before the first day of school, and I need this sorted out ASAP. Thank you so much.

You will be fine in AP Calc. Most universities will require Stats for psychology so there is a good reason to switch if you want. It is not going to look bad if you swap those two AP courses. My DD’18 is planning on Psychology too. She is signed up for AP Calc AB. If she does not get a specific teacher she will be switching to AP Stats.

Don’t stress about it…in the end if you could come out of Calc with a C and most schools would fine with that and you don’t have to turn in your AP score. I will say that my DD struggled with the AP Physics 1 (final grade was an 83, we won’t talk about what she got on the AP exam…) and there is no way she would have been able to handle AP Physics and AP Calc AB at the same time. (She had an 89 in honors geometry, 92 in honors Algebra 2 and a 85 in honors pre-cal for reference)
