So.

The AP English Language and AP French Language exams are both on the same day.

I am required to take the French exam because I am in AP French; it will likely be a bit of a challenge. I am not in AP English, but was considering taking the Lang & Comp exam because I think it'd be easy for me (I'm definitely taking the English Lit).

D'you guys think it'd be too much to take them both, seeing as they'd be back-to-back?

exams back to back are not fun. I had to do this two days last year and my mind felt like mush afterwards both days. English Language and French Language should be exams that should fit well together. You will be fine.

I took both the AP English Language and AP French Language back to back Junior year. I think you will be fine, just stay focused :). Good luck!

i've had to do this lots of times, and in fact was in your exact situation junior year. after a very rough night involving fights with my parents and not enough sleep, i got a 5 on ap lang in the morning.. and then was so exhausted that i only got a 3 on the afternoon's french exam that i really should have gotten a 5 on. check into your favorite colleges' policies. most schools dont accept both english lang and lit, so you could take lit instead, which is on a different day, or lang next year. it pretty much sucks to take 2 exams, but if you take enough aps and esp with ibs, it'll happen to you eventually, so you might as well get used to it.
