scheduling run

did anyone get an email like this?

"Our records indicate that you were in a recent scheduling
run. To view your latest schedule, please go to SSINFO
(SSINFO) after 8 a.m.

There may be financial implications of your schedule change.
Please log into SSINFO and click on the "Financial" menu and
then "Tuition & Fee Info" to see if there are any adjustments
to your account balance.

Thank you,
Office of the Registrar"

what does it mean that i was in a recent scheduling run?
i haven't scheduled anything...

*** is that? I ddn't get that. Maybe you should call them.

yeah call them. didnt get that either...

I'll go out on a limb here and assume you all have not yet begun at Purdue :D

A scheduling run basically means that your course selections for the coming semester have been run through the scheduling system. Those of us who have experienced schedule rejections can read further into that e-mail to tell you that none of the courses you selected resulted in time conflicts. I do have to say it's odd that you received that e-mail. Perhaps because you activated your career account you were tossed into the general student body. It probably won't cause any problems :)

nothing to worry about.
it means your advisor has scheduled you for some classes.
Check in "Academics" and "Class Schedule" for your schedule.
