scheduling

For junior year next year, I have the option of taking an additional foreign language (Chinese) vs. another history class (AP US Government). I love languages and social sciences equally, and I'm not sure which I should take. I will be at the fifth year level for my first foreign language, and can continue with a sixth senior year which is what I intend to do.

So, as a probable international relations or political science major, which would look more appealing and focused to colleges? Chinese, which I could probably learn a year over the summer and take Chinese II, or AP US Government and another semester long history course (non AP).

Thanks

pick ap us government, and if at the last second you feel like it’s the wrong choice, switch to chinese.

Why ?

you could do it the other way too if you want.

i just find it an effective way of picking something when i have a tough decision to make. you go with one, and then if you feel bad you didn’t pick the other one, you switch. if not then you stick with the one you picked.

Bump .
