Scholar Awards

I am finished with my University of Michigan application and I really want to send it in this Friday or this Monday at the latest. However, I have one small problem. So far, as one of the honors/awards, I put down AP Scholar with Distinction because I meet the standards (I took 5 AP tests and received 5s on all of them). Unfortunately, to my best knowledge, I have not yet received official recognition from College Board for this distinction. Does anyone know about when we are supposed to be informed about these certificates? Since I will probably get the piece of paper sooner or later, is it alright for me to put it down?

Please share anything that might help me out.
Thank you very much.

you'll probably get the notice any day (I know someone who got their envelop today on the east coast - though it did take awhile for everyone across the country to get their ap scores in the first place)

your scores are better than the mere title implies (you only need a 3 something average to get it). if you think ap scores will help, you can send a score report and/or list them somewhere on your application.

i've heard varying things about whether colleges even look at ap scores -- though i can't imagine them hurting.

talk to your gc - he may already have received notice of the awards and he can tell you how people normally handle this.

Delivery schedule may vary, some students got AP Scholar notifications in mid October (kind of late...)
