Yes i signed up for the overnight on the 11th-12th. I am 100% sure I am going there and I have been to a couple things so far, I just like going to the campus and I want to kinda get a familiar feel for it. But yes, it does seem very good for undecided students with dorm and classroom experience.

How did you find out about the Scholars overnight? I wonder if they are doing the same for Honors?

For the scholars, they sent us a paper in the mail. I would maybe call in and ask the honors department, but i figure they would have one for honors

I think that the Honors kids got to sign up a month before the Scholars. We never got a seperate paper about it, so my d didn’t know about it either.

My daughter’s first choice was health sciences but she was accepted into sports and wellness. anybody familiar with that scholars program? she will be in allied medical professions major and was also considering living in the learning community aligned to major in park hall (south) vs morrill tower for scholars . she is trying to decide on benefits of sports/wellness scholars program vs living in learning community with people in her major. thanks

the same thing happened to me, I got accepted into sports and wellness as my second choice. I called in and asked, cause my major is business. They told me my advisor would be the business scholars person because of my major, even though im in sports and wellness. And as far as taking a class with your scholars group, she said usually that class is like and GEC science or english or what not, so she wont be sitting in a class for an athletic trainer when she wants to do something else. The lady encourage me to join for the separate living, and she said the priority scheduling was huge, so i would accept
