<p>Then we have a 90% chance of getting in. Those odds seem good to me.</p>
<p>Those with ELC have an advantage of 300 points, which may be the reason why 90% have gotten in in '08. The 10% who didn't probably had high GPA and SAT scores, but were lacking points in categories like work experience, special circumstances, income, volunteer work, etc. </p>
<p>The cutoff for '08 was 7576 and this year it should be within that range, but higher. Assuming it doesn't randomly shoot up 250 points, then I could be fine. I think the estimate of 7700 for the cutoff is accurate, but it may be slightly lower than that this year.</p>

<p>I have points for high GPA, good test scores, ELC, and A-G, but nothing else (possibly my summer enrichment course). I think that put me at around 8000 or a little higher.</p>
