<p>My S applied for Engineering and for the Scholars program. I think he has a decent shot at getting in and would qualify for the Nat’l Buckeye Scholarship. This, along with the relative strength of the Engineering School makes OSU a frontrunner if he gets in. I was wondering if you hear about the scholars program with acceptance or is that something you hear about later. Also, any input about the Scholars program, particularly for a first year engineering student would be greatly appreciated.</p>
<p>I was told you hear about Honors/scholars about a month after the OSU acceptance… so in theory mid January.</p>
