I'm thinking about living on the scholar's floor because I was accepted into the honors program. From what I've heard, it's a well-rounded floor. I just don't want to be on a floor where all people do is study, although I'm sure that won't be the case. Can anyone give any advice about the scholar's floor?

yeahhhhh...I'd also like to know where do people who've been accepted to the CCS program usually hole up?

Jabber at Spring Insight yesterday the CCS panel was asked that question and they said the students pretty much lived all over. There is one house in Manzaneta that is for CCS students but my son doesn't seem to interested in that. (he is deciding between UCSB CCS for math and Berkeley)

congratulations to your son : ) was he disinterested in Mananeta because he didn't want to meet a more heterogenous group of people, or was there something else going on there?

I think he wants to get to know other people besides the CCS students.I doubt he would choose a scholars floor either.

eh, wups, meant to say "wanted to meet a more heterogenous group of people", my bad. Given that CCS has only got 350 people, I understand the wish to...expand.
