Scholars vs. Honors Programs

@armaryland17 – They also have Spring Open Houses, where you could meet with Scholars/Honors representatives as well. Those dates:

You can’t apply to get into Honors after you finish Scholars, but there are departmental honors programs within many (most?) majors, that you can get into after Scholars. (i.e. after you get your scholars citation, if you happen to be studying, say, history, you could do the history departmental honors program).

can a business scholars person room with a honors person?

norcalryan - I think you "just become one of the ‘pack’ ". However, by junior year, nobody is really one of the pack anymore. I don’t think many students are still living in honors housing junior/senior years anyway. Plus, once you’re an upperclassmen, many/most of your classes are upper level courses in your major. I think it’s pretty freshman and maybe sophomore year that you benefit from being in a living/learning community, and therefore are part of a smaller group. Current students, any comments?
