<p>Is there anyway you can apply to become a John Jay Scholar or a Rabi Scholar?</p>
<p>not as of yet, it may change while you are a student. i can speak at least for the potential for students to apply for the scholars program (jay, kluge, davis) and not rabi or the new seas one.</p>
<p>in general though being a scholar is more of a + than a huge game changer as some folks have noticed on here. though it gives you direct access to things with less hoops to jump thru, an entrepreneurial student can get just as much if not more out of columbia than a scholar. networking with faculty members, working as soon as they get on campus, applying to prestigious summer and grad school fellowships and programs, etc., is available to all students.</p>
