I was just notified that I am an Entrepreneurial Scholar. :D

I have heard rumors floating on CC that receiving a merit scholarship meant a guaranteed acceptance to Wash U. Is this true? And if so, does this still apply for small scholarships such as the Entrepreneurial Scholarship or are those contingent on your acceptance into Wash U?

Haha it is kind of cool to find two of the eight Entrepreneurial Scholars in one thread.

On a side note, I just got a letter from the program today, and it told me that I will receive my official acceptance offer from Wash U in a few weeks. I guess that means I’m in!!! :D

Yea I got that today as well – and to make it even clearer, the last line says something along the lines of congratulations on your admission. :)

Yea WashU is definitely up there – I’m not sure yet though… (I’m quite indecisive about the whole thing)

If you don’t mind me asking, what type of entrepreneurial stuff do you do? I’m a freelance programmer and wrote about a project I did for a client for the essay.

Edit: sorry, all this is directed at dawn… meant to quote him/her but I guess I didn’t.

Jk242, what other schools are you considering? (if you don’t mind me asking).

For my essay, I wrote about this business/invention type competition that I did and was selected as a finalist in and what I am doing now with the concept I submitted for the competition.
