<p>Does Cornell award merit scholarships (read- financial award)based on freshman year gpa? I know there is the Dean's Honor list. Is there a President's list too?</p>

<p>i know for scholarships/programs like the meining(sp?) scholars you have to maintain a certain gpa...but its very low like 2.0? i know to mantain satisfaction you have to have a minimum of a 1.7 gpa...but for certain majors it differs...</p>
