If we submit our application for scholarship consideration and don't qualify for one, are we still considered for regular admission or get our decisions earlier? Or, do you have to submit your application each time? I'm guessing that applying early is the same as regular decision but you get to qualify for a scholarship, right?

You only have to apply once, by Dec. 1 to be considered for both scholarships and admission. You can apply by the January date if you aren’t interested in scholarships.

If you are selected for an interview (for Trustee/Presidential), you will hear in late, late January or early February. You will also be offered admission at that time. If you don’t hear early about an interview or Dean’s scholarship offer, you can still get into USC even though you aren’t being considered for a major merit scholarship. You will hear in March. No need for more than one application!

Best of luck and get that app in by Dec. 1!

Tiger,

You have everything to gain by having the application in by Dec 1. In addition to the larger scholarships there are still many others such as Town & Gown, ethnic, local alumni group, USC Associates, SCions (legacy), leadership, ROTC, National Merit, Greek and others.

Students have until May 1 to make the decision to attend.
