Scholarship application lost in the mail?

So today, I decided to check the delivery status for all my scholarship applications (Moog, Danforth, and Biomedical research program). According to the USPS website, both the Moog and research applications were delivered, yet the status for my Danforth application indicates that it hasn't even arrived at a St. Louis post office.......even though all three applications were mailed at the same time (December 29)...

I emailed the Danforth committee to find out if they ever received it, but I'm really uneasy right now. I know I should've checked the delivery statuses earlier, but it slipped my mind. Should I be worried, or is it possible that the USPS website has some faulty information?

It's doubtful that the USPS has faulty information, since its in their best interest to track your package correctly. Perhaps it would be best to resend the parts of your application ASAP (Overnight would be best) with an explanatory note? Especially since for Danforth, they already have your recommendation so it's not like you have to ask the recommender for another copy.

Even though I took D's Danforth to the post office on January 8, when I called on the 12th and the 14th, they were so overwhelmed with mail that no one could confirm if her app had arrived. The man I spoke with suggested that I scan her application and send it via email to them. I did receive an email confirmation that they got the email app in time.
If you decide to email it, I suggest you write a short note about the USPS mixup and that your other apps did arrive in time.
Good luck

shoot, i didn't make a photocopy of that form where you list all your activities and stuff. hmmmm....

Caramba!!!!!
