I just started the scholarship application for Friends of Music. It asks me for extra curriculars, awards, and volunteer activities etc. Can I attach my list of extra curriculars that I sent to the college itself?

I'm doing the application now as opposed to not at all because admissions told me that they would accept applications up to Janurary 31st.

You could. Sometimes (such as in case with Danforth) they get your teacher recs etc (and they also tell you that in the forms) but a lot of these scholarships are seperate compartments and may not share all the information you send to regular admissions. It couldn't hurt, right?

Huh? I called the Admissions Office and got their message. They said they were accepting applications up until January 31st, but I thought I heard them say that the deadline for scholarships is still January 15th. If anyone can confirm that the deadline for scholarships has been extended as well, please inform me! I backed off on a Compton app, but if the deadline has been extended I may well pursue it.

Well apparently I misread their email. It referred to regular applications. But, when I emailed them again, they responded that I could either send it in by fax or overnight. After tomorrow, its over. He also said I could give in half the application by fax and half by mail. (Which I am doing) If you do send it in by fax, the number is 314-935-4290, and you have to write on it Attention: Diane Devine

Now remember, I'm not sure if it applies to all scholarships. I only mentioned the Friends of Music scholarship, so thats the only one I'm definite about.
