<p>My daughter applied for New Freshmen Academic Scholarships prior to the deadline last November. She uploaded her 3 documents required and they show up on the Scholars Management System, but that system does not show her application is complete. I am worried that they are waiting for something and we missed the deadline. Will it not show complete until I can submit the FAFSA after I complete our 2010 tax return? She has already been accepted, housing deposit has been made, she picked the Greek Life thematic learning community at one of the dorms to live in and submitted her immunization records. The only thing I can think is missing is the FAFSA. Thanks for any answers.</p>

I would call the scholarship office ASAP and have them straighten that out for you. The FAFSA isn’t connected in any way to Academic Scholarships so I wouldn’t think that would affect it, but I haven’t used their new online system. Their number is 479-575-4464 if you don’t have it handy, and either of the associate directors or Ms. Stouffer the interim director should be able to fix things up for you. If it was an error in the system or some similar issue I would talk to them and see if they can’t fix it so that she will be considered as a priority applicant since everything was in on time in November.

My son had the exact same issue. He sent an email the scholarship office and was told that as long as the three documents were uploaded he was fine. They acknowledged that the “Application Complete” box would not appear checked.</p>
<p>I called on Monday and left a message. They were closed for the holiday. I haven’t heard back yet, but thanks to Wake’s post I have my answer. I appreciate the replies.</p>
<p>I guess they’re still having some issues with it since it’s a new system. Good luck to your daughter and wake’s son in the scholarship round!

<p>Scholarship office called me back and confirmed if the three documents appear as uploaded everything is fine just as Wake210 posted. The application complete box would not be checked.</p>
