if a scholarship is asking for a copy of student aid report, is it normal?

Does the scholarship list financial need as a criterion?

yes ssssss

Well it seems reasonable then – the scholarship sponsors will need some evidence of your financial need. But be careful and make sure that the scholarship is legit before sending out sensitive financial information. I just checked my son’s SSN and they X’d out all but the last 4 digits of each SSN. Still, I might even black those out if sending it around.

Good luck!

Our most popular local scholarship asks for the the SAR but only one page of it (the page with the EFC).

I would definitely black out all private information (ssn’s, dob’s, etc).
