Scholarship at Vandy or GA Tech?

I’m a little confused right now. I received the President’s scholarship from Georgia Tech, which gives money as well as several benefits: ie. Priority registration for classes, special advisors on major scholarships, study-abroad stipends. However, I also got a full-tuition scholarship to Vanderbilt - which is just money, but a LOT more money than I’m getting from GT. In the end, the costs for both schools will be approximately the same. Btw, I plan on majoring in Biomedical Engineering, w/ pre-med.
On one hand, Vanderbilt seems to be a more prestigious university. However, GT offers many extra benefits. Which would you say is the better of the two options?
Thanks so much for your help!

Members of my family have degrees from Ga Tech and Vanderbilt. If you want a wonderful traditional liberal arts core curriculum by all means go to Vanderbilt. Super contact with Full professors. You are so lucky to have a full ride. Arts and Sciences admission just dropped to near 30% and they are recruiting strong engineering students to increase the quality of the Eschool. This year's class will be strong and diverse if you want to have friends who are more into arts and sciences as well as engineering friends. I love Atlanta, but would personally mourn never having the chance for small classes in liberal arts as a foundation --which is what you will always have if you go to Vanderbilt. If you are hard core ready for engineering, Ga Tech is ready for you and will land you a job quickly but Vanderbilt is no slacker institution and will lead you to many other connections for jobs and grad schools. The schools are really nothing alike. The peer groups are nothing alike. Vanderbilt has a strong community and down home aspect to it but all the best of Nashville is a stroll away. Atlanta is also exciting but you can see my bias here for undergrad...grab Vanderbilt, and go for a masters later in your engineering specialty. Search for evil robot, our CC Board favorite Vandy freshman who turned down many offers from other great institutions to go on scholarship to Vandy's Eschool this year...he can give you the scoop and he is very very happy.

Second Vandy

I would say Vandy too.

fourth for vandy
