Hi. I’m currently a senior in high school and am wondering if I have a chance at receiving a scholarship. I was admitted in late November to the College of Engineering but haven’t received much word after that. Here are my stats (as of my Junior Year) and other tidbits.
Unweighted GPA: 4.0
Weighted GPA: 4.33
ACT: 34
Class Rank: 6 of 258 (Within the top 3% of my class)
Coursework: Unfortunately, my school doesn’t offer AP classes, so I was stuck with honors classes and have only just now started taking Dual Enrollment and College Courses. By the end of senior year, I will have taken English Comp I DE, English Comp II (college credit only), Psychology (college credit only), and Music Appreciation (college credit only).
Extra Curricular: Debate Team, President of Tech Lab (Science Club), Beta Club (community service organization)
Job Experience: I’m not sure if this counts towards anything, but I’ve worked two jobs during high school for two years. I doubt it matters, but I thought I’d drop it anyway.
Being out of state, I need money to be able to afford this school, and right now, I don’t think I’m in a good state to attend. Any help is appreciated.
