Since there is very little data as to what stats are necessary for scholarships at rutgers, I’m wondering you think my chances are for getting the presidential scholarship at SAS? (Applying class of 2022)
SAT: 1560/1600
GPA: 3.95 UW (4.5 W)
Math II-790, Chem-790
5’s on all my AP exams
Hey I’m Rutgers Class of 2021 (EMSOP '23)
My stats were:
ACT: 34/36
GPA: 3.9 UW (4.3 W)
Math II-740, Chem-730
5’s on 3 AP Exams, 4’s on 5 AP Exams
Initially I received no scholarship, and after appealing with other scholarship offers ($22.5k from USciences, $15k from UPitt, $12k from SUNY Buffalo) Rutgers awarded me $3.5k.
Even though scholarships are merit based, Rutgers still requires you to submit a FAFSA report, and heavily awards scholarships to students that require funds. The scholarship selection process is not need-blind.
