scholarship chances please!!!

hey i know these threads are really annoying, but I really like chapman and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I have any chances of scholarships

gpa: 3.95 UW/ 4.3 W

SAT subjects: Math2=800, BiologyE=620
Class rank: 6 out of 300
class treasurer (4 years)
varsity cross country 4 years (mvp 4 years, captain 2 years)
varsity soccer 4 years (captain 2 years)
varsity swimming 4 years
peer counselor at my school for 3 years
i have taken 7 out of the 10 AP classes offered at my school
i have over 400 hrs of community service
last year, i worked at a physical therapy office as an intern for over 100 hours

i kinda need a scholarship to be able to go to chapman, so if you could let me know if i have a chance at any of the different scholarships, that would be greatly appreciated

oh, and im applying for the athletic training major, if it makes a difference

thank you!!!!

Did you apply EA? If you did, I think you have a very good chance! Good luck! :)

ya i applied EA like in the end of october, and im really nervous :/

I know how you must be feeling right now. Exciting, but nervous. Looks like you have very good potential. My advise is to stay calm and be patient through this process. The best thing right now is to stay focused on your academic by finishing your senior year strong. That will also help you take your mind off of it. You did your part by applying. Best of luck! :)

I currently go to chapman and I had a 3.85 unweighted and got a 2070 on the SAT and got a $25,000 scholarship to Chapman. They determine it based solely on your GPA and SAT/ACT scores, so looks like you’re set. $25,000 is the largest merit award that they give out.

Reminder: Chapman does does not use freshman year grades in their academic evaluation of applicants.

bigmama: Good reminder, definitely true.

It sounds like you are a good contender for those Merit Scholarships though. Good Luck. Be sure to do your FAFSA as that can really help with Chapman Grants as well.

Does Chapman give you the merit scholarships or do you have to apply for them?

they tell you about the merit scholarships when you get your acceptance packet in the mail
