I have stats below yours (2140, 33) and I have not heard anything…when i called they confirmed that i had at least the national merit full tuition scholarship though

I called the office two weeks ago to ask if I had to submit additional paper work for it and they told me that they had already awarded it to me contigent upon me making them my first choice…I have yet to change my first choice with national merit

I have received full tuition offers from northeastern and fordham and I have yet to decide

nhojcast - Congratulations on Northeastern and Fordham. What a wonderful situation to be in, but I don’t envy you having to decide! Best of luck wherever you end up - I’m sure you will have even more contenders at the end of the month.

I read an article that said that the typical recipient had a combined CR and M score of 1550-1600 which would put you in the range. They are announced at the end of March/beginning of April

noname22 - My d applied early. On 12/15 she rec’d her letter of acceptance along with a ltr awarding her a Dean’s Scholarship - annual award of at least $10K each year of undergraduate study. Then she rec’d another ltr on 2/7 advising she was being offered “gift aid” of $108K over 4 years - $27K annually for up to 4 years of full-time undergraduate study. Gift aid is not defined, so we do not know what this includes (merit, loans, work study, etc.)
Earlier this month we advised admissions that she made NMF and they said they would take that info to the review committee for consideration of additional scholarship. No word yet.
Basic stats: SAT 2280, ACT 32

I saw some posts on it so I decided to share my stats/what I know about it. The letter said that 22 (?) were awarded the scholarship. It includes tuition and housing as well as admittance to the honors program thing. I am actually kinda sad because I don’t really like fordham that much and wish I did. I have other really good scholarships to other schools, so I will probably not go, but this will probably earn a revisit. Now to the stats

Are the scholarships and aid solely based on the SAT, because it is the weakest part of my application.
Are internationals considered only for merit?
