scholarship chances

Sorry if there are many of these but I'm trying to figure out if its worth applying
Here are my stats
OOS I will apply early
ACT 29 If Pitt superscores it then its a 30
wgpa 4.18 unweighted is like 3.9
4 APs 4 honors classes
National Honor society
3 years of soccer
Held a Part-time job for a year
Environmental club
top 10% of my class

Thanks, just let me know if I forgot something

You would need a 33 or 34 under normal circumstances.

I would agree unless you have a “hook” that Pitt is looking for.

Pitt gives more money to OOS applicants. Some schools, such as engineering, give their own scholarships separate from the university - so check that out. FWIW, my son had notably higher stats and got a few thousand. My daughter had similar stats (test scores a bit higher) and got next to nothing. We are in state though, so you might do better. I can tell you this though. My daughter applied early and got accepted to Oakland, while some of her friends applied late with similar stats and were only offered a branch campus. So apply early!!!

Our stats are pretty similar (I’ll be a freshman at Pitt this fall), except my ACT was a 31, and I got a pretty good amount of money from them. Granted it took a while for me to get it. I’d recommend taking your ACT again and send in your app. If you dont hear anything about scholarships by Christmas, e-mail OAFA and attach a copy of your complete resume. Make sure you submit an essay with your application as well!
