<p>Did anyone else go to the scholarship competition today.</p>
<p>I took the english exam and it was ridicilious, about 200 students for 5 scholarships. And I asked a group of kids around me if they took this test so they didn't have to study, because that was my rational, and they of course said yes. Ohh seniors, so lazy it is glorious</p>
<p>I took the English exam also. I was surprised by the number of people at the competition today. It's nearly impossible to win one of the scholarships with that many people. The one thing that amazed me even more than the number of people was the fact that some students finished so quickly. Maybe I'm just really slow, but I don't see how it's possible to write two quality essays as quickly as some did.</p>
<p>They didn't write the second essay. I even heard one girl mention how she almost made up a book for the second essay.</p>
<p>My first essay on Dickinson was excellent, my second one was meh, but I got two books, so I am ahead of the pack there.</p>
