<p>Is UNC having a Scholarship Day this year? If so, when are they sending out invitations?</p>
<p>I havent heard anything, but someone just posted a question on the admissions blog about how they just received their invitation. my stomach is in a knot</p>

<p>Did your friend also get a likely letter from unc? Did your friend say if the letter states when the scholarship day is for EA applicants?</p>

<p>Similar questions about Scholarship Day have been asked on the Admissions Blog already. Many people were asking if the event and invitations were going to be moved back because of a later notification deadline this here. Here’s one of the direct quotes from Julie, “Yes, the timeline for Scholarship Day has been moved back slightly this year to accommodate our new notification deadline. We should be sending out the invitations in late January. Thanks.”</p>
<p>Other than that, I didn’t find anything on the blog. Does the 17th count as late January? It seems like they would wait and try to make the letter arrive at least closer to the notification deadline.</p>
<p>By the way, I was a likely-letter person, but no Scholarship Day invitation so far!</p>

<p>I am in state. Only an hour away from Chapel Hill really. So if they have sent out letters already, it seems like I will receive one soon if at all

<p>umm scholarship day invites HAVE definitely gone out. 3 of my friends got it, and 2 of them had previously gotten a likely letter. it does say what date the scholarship day is, which i think is sometime in mid february.</p>

<p>I got an invitation and it definitely shows up in your portal too, because that’s how you have to RSVP.
Does anyone know if the invites are going to be told that they’ve been admitted to the Honors Program? Someone posted a on another thead that their kid went a year or two ago and that’s what they were told.</p>
