does usc accept december SAT scores....any advice appreciated

THANKS!

YES

This question keeps coming up so I just called admissions. December SAT scores ARE accepted for those applying by the scholarship deadline of December 10.

Self report your December SAT results on form 5 as soon as they are available (send in a copy of the online report.) This is in addition to having the official report sent to USC.

The December SAT score results come out after the December 10th deadline. How can you self-report it as soon as they come out if the scholarship deadline would have already passed?

i called, and they said that they DO NOT accept december sat scores

^ for the december 10th deadline that is

I just called again and they ARE accepted. They WILL accept the SAT test given on December 1 for the December 10 scholarship deadline. The scores should be self-reported as soon as you receive your online report and also sent officially when they are available. It is OK that they will receive your self-reported scores after the December 10 deadline. Your December scores will be used in evaluating your scholarship application.

I asked the question several times over and over in order to clarify and told the counselor that someone else was told otherwise. I was reassured again that the December 1 test scores are accepted for the December 10 scholarship deadline. In addition, the December 8th ACT scores are accepted.

It bugged me, blahhh90, that someone gave you a different answer so I called even AGAIN. I got the same answer: December 1 SAT scores ARE accepted for the December 10 scholarship deadline. They told me that they would spend the month of December and the beginning of January getting the files in order before evaluation so it was OK if the supplemental information came in late. I asked if you needed to tell them the scores were still coming and they said no- there was definitely time for them to receive December 1 SAT scores for scholarship applicants evaluation.

NOW I feel very confident in this answer.

thanks cc411
i dont know why the person i talked to told me otherwise
i think ill call again monday, but i trust your word
thanks a lot!

Does anyone know if USC accepts December ACTs?

... the December 8th ACT scores ARE accepted.

Ha Ha! Not sure if I want to be trusted 100% of the time! If anyone ever has any doubt here on CC and it is critical, it's probably a good idea to double and triple check!

Yeah I thought they were but I wanted to be 100% sure. Thanks.

thanks everyone, for your responses

just to make another question extra clear:

do i have to rush report the December scores to USC or just will regular sending work?

Regular sending works...i already sent my December scores to USC and there was no option for rush reporting...so I think they'll just get is as soon as Collegeboard sends them

another questions...when you send the December scores, I know that USC looks at combined SAT scores (best cr, best math, etc.) will they do that for December and previous SAT scores they see on the score report?
