Would I be able to get anything from Drexel in terms of merit-based scholarships? There is simply no way that I could afford Drexel without financial aid. My first time taking the SAT (March) I received an 1850 overall, 1200 M + CR. I just took the SAT again today and am hoping to reach the 1900's (1300's M + CR). Thanks

This is obviously depends on many other things, including who you are, what your GPA/class rank is, what major/college your applying for, etc, but its not uncommon for people with those SAT scores to get some type of merit-based scholarship and don’t forget there is financial aid that they may offer you and that you can appeal for.

Ok thanks. Just FYI

GPA (Unweighted): 3.8-3.9 I’m not sure
Class Rank: School doesn’t rank, it’s really small
I’m a first generation college student
I am going to major in some form of engineering

Oh, and since my parents make 100k + a year, does that basically rule out non merit-based scholarships?

what exactly do you mean by non merit-based scholarships? Drexel doesn’t give out any “non-merit based scholarships”, they give out financial aid such as grants. If your family make over 100k a year, yes you’ll most likely not get as much financial aid as someone’s family making only 40k a year. However, you never know until you get it since i believe it will depend on your fafsa package and once you do get your financial aid package from drexel you can always appeal it
