Hello all I’m applying early for IU and would like a rough estimate on how much scholarship money I can get.
GPA is 3.89 weighted, 33 on ACT. I just would appreciate a ballpark figure.

I think you’d be around the middle of the automatic scholarships. If you’re in-state, you might get $2-6k from the Provost’s scholarship: https://scholarships.indiana.edu/scholarships/achievement/index.html
Maybe increase the ranges by 1-2k on both sides if out of state. I don’t have inside information or anything, but I know what several of my friends got and their stats.
My D’s friend last year got about $4k on the provost and I think she had similar stats if not slightly higher. My D got nothing on Provost and was a 3.8 gpa and a 26 ACT. She did get a small scholarship through School of Ed as a Direct Admit.
Any idea if my son would qualify for anything with a 3.97 GPA and 31 ACT?
@59erDad Your son will probably get the same amount as the OP and will definitely get something. See my post above in this thread.
OOS Student - Just got in with over 4.0+ (weighted) 3.8 unweighted lots of AP classes and a 1400 SAT. Received Dean’s Scholarship of $6,000/year I think but I can’t find the paper. Letter came with Acceptance letter.
Well, son got $6000 provost’s scholarship for in-state students. I wasn’t expecting that much, so I am a very happy camper.
