Scholarship for admitted students

It looks like Purdue requires a separate application for scholarships for admitted students. Its website says that the online application will be available on Dec 10 under the Division of Financial Aid web page. I can not find the online application there. Anyone know where to find that?

Try here:

Thanks. I could get to the Purdue page from this link but then could not move forward with any of the application links there. Has anyone been able to actually fill/ start the scholarship application forms?

I was told that the scholarship app will be available on December 17th.

My son is a freshman at Purdue.

It sounds like you may be getting some bad information.

There is no separate application for merit based scholarships.

There is a separate application, which is very short, for need based scholarships/

I recommend that you join the FaceBook group I have pasted below. It is moderated by Purdue administrators. Everyone has the same questions, and they are great at providing a quick and thorough response.

It’s an invaluable resource as you move from acceptance, through scholarships, dorms, enrollment, and move in day.

Oh well idk. I just saw on the Purdue site last night that scholarship app will be available on the 17 and due on Feb. 1st. Are you saying this is for need based scholarship? Then what the merit scholarship?

Purely merit scholarships are automatically applied for if you applied before the specific deadline. The short scholarship application are merit based with a need component. Entirely need based is assessed by the FAFSA if you fill it out by March 1.

Make sure you are using Internet Explorer.
Go here: https://www2.itap.purdue.edu/DFA/ScholarShipApp/ScholarshipApp_start.cfm</a>
Then click on the link that applies to you. For instance I clicked on Purdue University Scholarship Application which sent me

I’m from Tennessee and I love purdue and I REALLY wanna go, but out of state tuition is so expensive that my dad says i have to get a certain amount of scholarship money to go. I’m not sure if i’ll get it…but if i do im going

My question is…would sending in my enrollment deposit to save my spot hurt me or help me or do nothing? any advice would be much appreciated!

boilerup!

^Did you do a net price calculator?

My D rec’d her trustees scholarship letter today! Engineering, 34 ACT and 4.0 (UW), good EC, In-State.

Looked online. My scholarship letter (written Dec 18) showed up on the application status page (along with my letter of admission). Trustee, out of state, electrical engineering.

Where exactly did you find it online? Im away from home and thus can only look online…

Login and click on your submitted application at the bottom of the page. Somewhere in that box of your information there will be a link to you letter of admission and, if you have one, a scholarship letter.

Ah okay i see what you mean.looks like no scholarship for me, unless im lucky and they havent given me notice… was hoping for something given my fairly good stats but oh well.

Lonely, did you receive a likely letter?

Nope, but I submitted very close to the scholarship deadline.

I wouldn’t be too upset if you didn’t receive a letter yet. I’m pretty sure that when I was a freshman that trustees were the first to release letters, and then presidential. And I didn’t get my presidential until close to March so don’t count yourself out of scholarships yet!

Lucky - we haven’t heard anything my son’s stats are pretty similar. He did get a likely letter and then admission. I just looked at his self service but don’t see anything - hopefully just not yet.

If I was accepted on the 12/21 and i applied before 11/15 should i have received scholarship info by now? Or does this mean im just not getting any?
