DTEmom is correct, the letter for fall merit aid will be out very soon, the information will be online and letters will also arrive in the mail.

The online problem is apparently fixed. When you click from the admissions status page, you now get a new screen – the one that apparently wasn’t working before. You can now view your awards for each school to which you were accepted.

Rutgers fixed their problem. You can now see your scholarship. My son got $16,000. We are very excited!

They awarded the Trustee Award $16,000.00 per year to my son. I hadn’t seen that listed anywhere.

Presidential Scholarship to Pharmacy, SAS, and Engineering

Congrats DTE Mom & Dinomite. Thats well deserved!! Are you going to enroll??

My D got Presidential for SEBS, Trustee for SAS. She only applied to 2 schools. She is OOS. I think we’ll try to visit Rutgers during the spring break trip east. We’ve never been to NJ, so she doesn’t know what to think. I think the music school is not bad, should start a thread to inquire about this as she wants that as a second major and a good fit with the people in music is a big part of decision

Congratulations to celesteroberts, rebel11, Dinomite, and DTEmom. It is nice to know that Rutgers added $16,000 Trustee scholarship this year on top of the $10,000 James Dickson Carr Scholarship. Do you mind sharing your children’s SAT scores? What is the chance for my child who has an SAT of 2270 (CR:710, M:760, W:800) to receive the Presidential scholarship?

You’ve got a good chance at Presidential.My son CR=800, Math=720,Wr=720(2240) Got 16k Trustee @ SAS & SEBS.Will not attend , He will be a Penn Quaker class 2017

Thanks guys! just as a reference point if you guys need, my SAT is 720 CR, 800 M, 800 WR (2320 total) and a 3.9+ UW GPA

A little bit disappointed, but I got the Scarlet Scholarship. My combined SAT was 800 CR, 740 M, 660 WR (2200 total) - but I’ll understand if they didn’t take the super-score for scholarship consideration. GPA was ~5.0W, ~3.6UW

D has 2280(720/790/770), 35(36/36/36/33), 4.0 UW. I think they may be hesitant to award too many of these wonderful scholarships to OOS. Perhaps if she was in-state she would have also received Presidential for SAS? She was admitted to honors there. Anyway now that she received these awards we can more seriously consider the school and plan to visit. I thought it was a long shot as I saw lists of recipients from previous years in newspaper articles online and there were just a couple OOS. I didn’t know if that meant OOS mostly chose not to attend or if they just rarely get the award. Actually still don’t know.

So is it safe to say that if there is no such message on your status, you got nothing? Or are they gradually rolling them out?

My scholarship was dated to have been sent on the 2nd. I’m not sure, but if others got theirs earlier/later, then it’s possible that they’re rolling them out gradually.
