Scholarship interviews

<p>So...finally after numerous rejection letter from various scholarship foundation, i was nominated for our school's scholarship program. now after you get nomineed, you have to have an "interview" with the ...judge, i guess.</p>

<p>Does anybody have some tips? or advices? on how to leave a great impression on the judges?</p>

<p>Is there a specific type or category of scholarship that you are being invited to apply for? (Because replies can vary, depending on that.)</p>

<p>It was based on academic and community service.
its was pretty broad category. It was city-level. And i remember writing about "how have you contributed to the society by your work".

<p>Most of the interviews (college and scholarship) D has gone through have had questions based on the application she turned in, and are a get-to-know-you kind of interview. The interviewers have not asked intimidating questions--they know that the kids involved are nervous to begin with. In a couple of cases, we've heard through "the grapevine" that most of the decisions were made before the interviews occurred, based on the applications. The interview confirmed that. D had her "most fun interview yet" for a scholarship that she finds out about on Monday night. We'll see....</p>
