I’ve been applying to a lot of scholarships lately, and as a result, I’ve had to ask teachers to write me letters of recommendation. The only problem is, when they give me their letters back, they are riddled with spelling and grammatical errors… It’s to the point where I don’t even think they tried to read through it after typing it up, and honestly, it really bums me out that they seem to not care. Are sloppy letters of recommendation going to hurt me in the scholarship process? And should I approach them at all about it? I don’t want to bother them, but geez, it’s not just one teacher doing this; it’s literally every single teacher at my school that I’ve asked a letter from… Makes me wonder if I should just write myself one lol
