Hi everyone. does anyone know if scholarship notification varies among the different schools at Pitt? Because I applied to Pitt late August and got accepted into Pitt’s college of business administration in early September, but have not received any scholarship information. However, two of my friends, who applied and get accepted into the college of arts and science after me (like in late october/early november), have already received scholarships.
Please let me know and thank you in advance!
oh, and with that being said, has anyone who got accepted into the College of Business Administration received any scholarships yet?
I don’t have anything helpful, but I am in the same boat as you. I applied late in August for the College of Arts and Sciences, though I did not apply for any particular grad school (I did get guaranteed admissions to the school of International Affairs though). I did say on my app that I would have a future test sitting (the ACT in late October) so maybe that has something to do with it? Pitt’s representative on CC has said that the committee sometimes reviews an application more than once, and a mom said her daughter also applied early in August but didn’t receive her notification until December. Here’s to hoping.
@memelover glad that we’re in the same boat! i also got guaranteed admission to Pitt’s Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and got offered a spot in the Honors College. so i was hoping for some scholarship money as well. but hmm hopefully we can get some answers!
@physicsfan7 Looks like you have a good chance of getting a scholarship! I do hope that you do, given that Pitt is a great school and Pittsburgh is a great place. And yeah, I hope we learn soon… I’m already stressing in anticipation of other EA decisions coming up in December
@memelover I hope you get a scholarship too! and same here! but unfortunately, a lot of my EA decisions come out in january.
@physicsfan7 thank you! and i’m SOOO sorry about the January thing. Maybe winter break can be a nice distraction.
