Scholarship Notification via Email

Were recipients of the Hodson Trust Scholarship notified in their acceptance email? hoping the answer is no

no. coming in the mail.

There will be a letter in your admit packet if you've been offered a Hodson, Bloomberg or other merit scholarship or if you're a finalist for the Westgate engineering scholarship

Sweet 10char

i checked on the ISIS site and i found out about my Bloomberg scholarship

How do you do that?

Or that.. congrats on the Bloomberg! The ISIS system is online at http://isis.jhu.edu/ and I believe (not positive) they sent all prospectives a temporary login name and password for the system (?)

Did you have to apply separately for these scholarships?

tanman is correct (as always) about the notification of scholarship (Hodson, Westgate) and grant (Bloomberg) awards. I actually posted the answer to that question on the Hopkins Insider blog:

http://hopkins.typepad.com/hopkins_insider/2007/03/decision_day_ha.html
"Scholarship award notifications are included in the acceptance package of those students awarded one of our merit awards. We do not release these decisions through email or over the phone."

Information on merit based scholarships offered by Johns Hopkins University can be found here: http://apply.jhu.edu/finaid/scholarships.html. There was no separate application for scholarships — all applicants were reviewed for merit based aid. Please note we only offered ~90 merit scholarships this year (Hodson awards).

No email received and I don't expect any problems as I've gotten others. Is there cause for concern at all. Do you send rejections and acceptances to all applicants as I know my son submitted his email address? Merit awards by mail in admission letter?

Please see what I posted on this thread about students who have not received an email:
