I got my acceptance letter in December. I haven't received any notice of scholarship money, does anyone know if that means that I didn't get any? Or if I did, when will I be notified? I'm out-of-state.

Chiefs my daughter is now a sophmore but at the time, she received her acceptance letter in October and a shcolarship letter in February. We are also out of state. Good luck!

Hang in there! When my son was accepted 2 years ago, we got a notice from the Fin Aid office saying he didn’t qualify. So we actually cancelled his dorm reservation and he accepted at another school. THEN in the next couple of months, we got some separate scholarship letters --one from the school, one from the dept. The dept. scholarship actually came late spring or early summer, if I remember correctly. So he reinstated his dorm, etc. Apparently, there are different types of financial aid/scholarships that come from different places, and they all send out separate notifications: Financial Aid office, Scholarships from the university, and departmental scholarships. At least this was our experience 2 years ago–things may have changed since then.

Look for a scholarship letter in February or March. That is when I got mine last year.

Thanks for the replies!
