ST told us all that the calls would likely continue for days. If you look at last year’s posts, there were many posters who said they had received “the call”. This year, there haven’t really been any for scholarships other than Danforth and Moog. So, I’m hopeful there are many to come.

has anyone ever becoe a finalist for more than one of the scholarships?

I second aznjunior’s question.

I have a friend who has half tuition from Ervin and half from Rodriguez :)

assuming they are already enrolled at wustl, not applying for fall 2010?

Yeah, she is a freshman this year.

A few answers - First, despite what was previously posted by someone, the same Dean does NOT make all the calls. For Danforth it is Dean Stahl. During the week calls will be made in the afternoon or evenings, as much as possible. There are quite a few dual scholars (in more than 1 program), in fact there are even a few that were selected for 3 of the programs. Just remember that at this point, what will be will be, so no point losing sleep over it. Good luck and I am sure everything will work out in the end. remember that candidates are also eligible for need based aid in addition to merit aid.

Dear ST2,
You continue to share your knowledge and voice of reason. I am thinking you must work for Wash U! Thank you for all of your advice and insight throughout this process when a lot of misinformation can dominate the thread.
Last three questions for you . . . last year’s thread said that Pathway had the updates on Monday night around 8pm. Is that true and will Pathway be updated at 8pm tonight? If so, do people continue to receive calls even after their Pathway has revealed their wonderful opportunity/honor/gift?
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Decisions are up on Pathway!

I’m an Ervin Finalist! :)

Congrats!..Now time to look at mine GULPS

congrats! none for me, but i knew it was a reach anyway. hoping for good news in march though!

Congratulations! My daughter applied for 3 - Danforth, Mylonas and Rodriguez and didn’t get one. It was worth a try and at least she showed some interest!

Rejected. Cool.

S applied for Friends of Music and the Lien. Didn’t get them but hopefully was a way to show additional interest.

yep, rejected as well. but motion12345, like you said, it is possible to still get a call after the rejected status has been posted.
aaaand if not - well, on the positive side, I think we’ll all end up exactly where we’re supposed to be one way or another, do you know what I mean?

The home screen on the pathway says to check out my decision, but when I click scholarships it still has the “sent to committee for review” message. I sure I didn’t get it anyways… :

Finalist for the Annika Rodriguez program!!! Soooo happy. WashU class of '14 nearly for sure.

ugh…i didn’t get any! applied for moog, ervin, rodriguez, and summer scholars!!! does anyone know if there is a chance that i could still get one of them? is there a wait list?

Just logged in to pathways… I got the Entrepreneurial Scholars Program one but did not get the engineering academic fellowship. Still pretty cool!

Good luck to everyone

DD was rejected for Moog, but is a finalist for one of the Nemerov Writing Scholarships. Invited to come interview sometime between Mar. 16th and April 7th. While this isn’t exactly an invitation to Scholar’s Weekend, ST2, can we assume this means she’s accepted to WUSTL (she applied RD) and begin celebrating?
