Scholarship Notifications for UCF'25?

It’s in the myUCF portal. It’s under both “Holds & To Dos” and under “Admissions> Undergraduate Application Status> Scholarship Status”

Congratulations!! Last year for in-state Pegasus Gold was $14,000/4 years ($3,500/year). You will get a letter in the mail soon with the exact amount.

Anyone willing to share their stats? My son has nothing in his portal and we are out of state. UCF is his first choice and we were really hoping for some scholarship money. Based on his stats and last years stats, we felt he would almost definitely fall into the pegasus bronze category and maybe into the silver one as well. Hoping not all the scholarships have been posted. It will make it tough to say yes to UCF when he was admitted to University of Tennessee (second choice) yesterday with a $15,000/year scholarship. Now UTK is much more affordable than UCF. My husband and I both graduated from UCF so you can probably guess where we want out son to attend. Well, fingers crossed and congrats to everyone!

Thank you so much!! I will be looking forward to the letter

Pegasus Gold-30 ACT, 4.0 unweighted, 4.67 weighted

Son got Provost last year: 1500 SAT, 35 ACT, 4.0 unweighted, don’t remember weighted 4.6 something?

Ugh that’s not per year? Mine just got 15k PER YEAR for WVU so UCF might be tough for us being oos

S21: SAT 1490 (super score), UW GPA - 4.0, W GPA - 4.4?
Award: Provost, Honor College

Thanks for sharing! My son’s stats are 1380 SAT, UW GPA 3.8, W GPA 4.3 (Using our state’s grading scale). So, we are just hoping for something.

My daughter’s stats:
4.61 weighted GPA (3.97 unweighted)
1370 SAT
9 AP classes, 4 dual enrollment classes
Award: Pegasus Silver Scholarship (in-state)

Just a comment:

I noticed looking through last year’s threads that a 30 ACT will get the Pegasus Gold, but a 1370 SAT (which is equivalent to a 30 ACT on the official charts) will get a Pegasus Silver.

Unfortunately due to COVID my daughter only took the SAT.

UCF needs to look at the new comparison charts.

@cgemaj You are seeing the in-state awards listed here. OOS awards are much higher given that tuition is 3x as high. Pegasus Bronze OOS, for example, is $7500/year, so it is more than double the in-state Pegasus Gold.

Well that is good news…now if only ours would be posted lol Going to visit next week!

When did your kid apply? I believe they are notifying based on when the application was received. My son applied in early Sept.

S21, Provost

1500 SAT (superscored), 33 ACT
4.5 weighted
numerous AP courses, 1 DE
Golf - Varsity, Captain, Tennis - Varsity

Mine applied early October but didn’t hear until mid November

My daughter applied August 19th and was accepted September 18th. 3.94 UW 4.6W GPA, 1460 SAT, 10AP, 4AICE, 3 Dual Enrollment. NHS President. Nothing in the portal :frowning:
Where do you find it in the portal? Scholarships or in Application status? People with awards, have you committed already or no?

Found it! Provost!

Congrat!! We visited the campus in the summer and my S21 really likes it. He plan to major in CS. What is your daughter plan to major in?

She is undecided but most likely Marketing and Minor in Stats. But she is waiting to hear from UF. I wonder how long you can extend the scholarship without an answer? Does anyone know?

I don’t think you have to commit until May. My S21 is still waiting for UF and UTD
