Scholarship perspective of Harvard

Hey guys, its the apfreak yet again! I have a question:

Do you think that it is actually detrimental to list Harvard as a college you applied to when a scholarship form requests that information. Yes, it might give them the impression that you have stellar credentials, BUT I am concerned that they will assume that I am rich. What do you think in terms of need based scholarship and merit scholarships and those scholarships that consider both.

Thanks.

If anything, I think it would be viewed as just the opposite...people won't automatically assume that you are rich for listing Harvard. On the contray, they will recognize that you need as much scholarship aid as you can get

Awesome, that was one of the assertions I made when the scholarships I applied to asked for reasons why I need it.
