I was admitted to Stony Brook and received the CEAS Dean Scholarship, Presidential Scholarship, and Salutatorian Scholarship. However, lately second semester of senior year hasn’t been going so well for me. I slacked off a little towards the early part of the third quarter which screwed up some of my grades for this semester:
First Semester:
AP Calc BC: B+
AP Chem: B+
AP Macro: B+
AP Physics: B+
AP English Lit: B-
Third Quarter (projected):
AP Calc: C+ or B- due to a test I really botched, which would bring my cumulative average to a B
AP Chem: C- likely curved to a C, C+, or B bringing my average to a B
AP Macro: C or C+, bring my average to a B
AP Physics: C curved up to a B
AP Lit: likely B bringing my average to a C+
I’m going into an engineering major if that helps, so would the low grade in AP Lit likely be more “negligible” as compared to my other classes. Also, if I get C’s this quarter, would admissions see them or do they only see semester grades?
