<p>The Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership (CAPAL) is offering scholarships from $2,000-$3,000 plus a $500 travel stipend for individuals working in unpaid public service internships (nonprofit/government) this summer in the Washington, DC metropolitan region. Students will be considered based on financial need and will be required to disclose any other funding sources received. You need not be Asian American to apply for this scholarship--you must have a commitment to working in public service. College students of all majors are welcome to apply. </p>

<p>CAPAL is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-partisan educational organization dedicated to building leadership and public policy knowledge within the Asian Pacific American (APA) community. Its mission is to promote APA interests and success in public service careers, to provide information and education on policy issues affecting the APA community, and to serve the APA community at large.
