Scholarship Question for Chris

Hey there. I know you don't want to say anything definitive to accidentally mislead anyone but I was just wondering about something. I read a post of yours saying that scholarship consideration is usually given to those with a 93 average and 1300 SAT and higher. Is scholarship consideration still given to a student with stats of 90.5UW/92.3W 1330 SAT? Because I know I don't meet the honors college minimum requirements and looking at the scholarship page, I only see 1-2 that I may be qualified for( I'm African American going for Engineering), but I feel like since I'm not good enough for the honors college, those scholarships will pass me by...

And yes I've been accepted already =)

Thank you for your help. Hopefully you can understand my gibberish and what I am asking, I tried to word it in a way that a definitive answer is not needed. More like reassurance lol.

EDIT: Looking back at the site, I see I may have been qualified for 1-2 other scholarships that needed a small application as well, and the deadline has passed. Sigh, that's a bummer.

I had similar stats, 91UW with ~1360 SAT. I received $1k/semester presidential scholarship. Like you said though, don’t give your hopes up. Most of my money comes from governmental grants such as SMART, ACG, etc… though.

It varies a little bit every year depending on the pool; it’d be impossible to say now. They’ll make those decisions over the course of the next month or so.
