<p>“mom2collegekids” I’ll see what I can do about that issue, but you said they don’t use scores after Fall. When I took the SAT last year in December 5th, I think I got my results on the 22nd of December, so I’d be expecting to get my scores way before Fall if I take the January SAT 2011. Or is there something I didn’t understand?
And also how can I be an international if I’m a US citizen? I think I made clear I was living abroad so how would it make a difference where abroad? </p>

<p>“swimcatsmom”, I’ll have to ask a lot of people about this GPA issue, especially people that deal with this a lot (in the case of A-levels). I have a strong gut feeling that they consider my A-level results, otherwise I would have seen people actually caring about the quizzes we take in school. </p>

<p>“thumper1”, yes my dad is a U.S citizen working abroad, is he required to pay taxes?</p>

<p>He is required to file a US tax return. US citizens working abroad get exemptions on a certain amount of earnings (I am thinking something around $80,000 a year but would not swear to it) earned abroad as long as they do not spend more than a certain amount of time a year in the US. But they are required to file a US tax return.</p>

<p>For need based FA applications the US tax returns will be required for any consideration.</p>

As you are a US citizen (I was not sure if you were or not either) you will be considered as a US citizen for both admissions and FA. Unfortunately you will probably be considered OOS for any State Universities as you are not a resident of any particular state. Will not matter for private schools of course.</p>
