If I have a 3.7 GPA with the hardest classes possible at a private school and a 2150 SAT...What kind of scholarship can I get at my state college (maryland) and other colleges? I know this is insanely general but Im looking for a range

Don’t have a clue about your state college, but why don’t you start by looking here: [Automatic/Guaranteed Scholarships](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/financial-aid-scholarships/848226-important-links-automatic-guaranteed-merit-scholarships.html).

There are also many, many schools out there that offer competitive merit scholarships, and what you might be eligible for at each school depends on how your GPA and test score compare to that school’s average. The further you are above the school’s average applicant, the better your chances of getting good merit aid.

The merit aid I’m talking about is independent of need-based aid. Depending on your family income, you might also qualify for need-based aid.

What is your major?

What is your situation?

How much will your parents pay? How much merit do you need?

What is your Math + CR SAT (that is what merit will be based on)

How about Univ. of Alabama? It has very good OOS scholarships
