<p>Many times scholarships are a number game and for every 100 submissions you will possibly receive 1-2; however, those 1-2 $500+ scholarships will really start to add up. With over 28 million scholarship sites (according to Google) finding the sites that will easily narrow down the right scholarships can be daunting. <p>Gosh, wish I had seen this a year ago! Actually, I have had very good luck with scholarships. I had to refuse one for $5,000 this week because it said if I had my tuition fully paid by grants and scholarships, then I was no longer eligible. After receiving the GE Reagan $40,000 scholarship, I was well over the tuition amount for all four years. I am thankful to the many sites from which i was able to find the scholarships. I am still waiting to hear from a few of them, but I am one of the lucky ones who no longer have financial worries.</p>
