<p>So I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good scholarship website. I've tried some of the more popular ones and have found very little on them to actually be attainable. I'm not looking for big thousand dollar scholarships but something like 500- maybe 2500. I've tried FastWeb which people swear by but have yet to find any that don't appeal to a certain demographic or require many months of work to do. Maybe it has something to do with me being a Computer Science major but I can't even find some specific to my major. I've also tried several other scholarship sites and just recieved massive amounts of spam email. Thanks for any input!</p>

<p>jralexander, if you’re looking for scholarships for this upcoming fall, most of the deadlines have expired which is why there are not many on Fastweb anymore. I suggest looking at the end of summer/ early fall for more plentiful scholarship opportunities.</p>
<p>Yea I know most deadlines have passed I started looking several months back starting during mid fall semester but I had little luck with the popular sites. As for the counselor, they just suggested to fill out the application for the school’s scholarships which I had done already. I just find it funny that you see articles claiming that there is billion’s of dollars of unclaimed scholarships out there and are easy to find when all I’ve gotten from these sites is massive amounts of SPAM.
