Which scholarships (merit-based) do not require the weekend? Have these been announced?
Has anyone been notified of being a Presidential Scholarship finalist yet?
My daughter has not heard back yet nor has she heard of anyone hearing. She’s getting quite anxious as she believes it will be anyday.
I’m waiting to hear back about the Presidential as well. I live near the university, so if I get a letter, I’ll be one of the first. I’ll let you all know the second I find out (if I do find out).
Do folks waiting to hear about Presidential Scholarships expect to hear by mail or email? And am I correct in assuming that there hasn’t already been one round of “callbacks” for these? Everyone waiting hasn’t heard anything since having applied, correct? My S applied and we hadn’t heard anything so I had just assumed that he wasn’t in the running, but maybe there’s still hope?
So far we haven’t heard about anyone hearing anything. I don’t know why but my daughter thinks it will be by email.
I don’t know, Wake does almost everything through the mail. But I would love an email! Less waiting time.

My friend’s daughter was just invited to a scholarship weekend in March. Is it safe to assume that she has been accepted? I’m waiting for a copy of the letter so I don’t have the details yet.
When you say “just invited” you mean today? By email or mail? Is it for the Presidential Scholarship for talent in the arts?
Yes, she received the email on Saturday. I don’t know which scholarship. The invite was sent by email.

@Chopinspiano so does that mean that if you haven’t received anything you are not selected. Do they email everyone the same day?
@KatieWF That’s correct. They have 2 interview weekends for scholarships that aren’t the Presidential one. No email means you didn’t get it and all recipients receive the emails on the same day.
