scholarship

NU's 'Northwestern Scholarship' remains virtually the same over the four years? Or should I maintain certain GPA?

Guaranteed as long as your financials dont change drastically and you remain full time and in good standing.

^Can you specify “in good standing”, pls?

Also, for ‘work-study’, do I need to work at designated workplaces only? Can I visit my aunt in the Netherlands during summer vac, make money, and contribute to my COA? Is this allowed?

It’s expected that you work in summer terms. So yes absolutely.

And yes, Work-study are specific positions on campus.

In good standing in this context means dont fail out.

A bit confusing: So, if I work during this summer in the Netherlands and make 2.5k, which is the work-study amount the NU awarded(?) me, I do not have to work during the rest of the year? OR does it work in a way that, aside from my summer job, I have to apply for a workstudy position within campus and have to fulfill 2.5k?

Ok let me clarify: The work study alottment allows you get a work study job on campus, and earn UP TO 2500 over the course of the year. That amount of money is not covered otherwise. One way or the other, that much of your cost of attendance has to be paid to the school. The job just pays you directly. You can even turn down that part altogether. That’s just how the school is telling you they’re making funding available to you for that part of your expenses.
